Louis Head Tourism Festival and Events Society
Want to be part of something meaningful and exciting right here in Shelburne County? We’re building
a seasonal hub for accessible recreation, community pride, and cultural celebration—and we need
people like you to help bring it to life.
The Louis Head Tourism Festival and Events Society is a nonprofit organization hosting festivals,
concerts, weekend events, bingo nights, and community dinners, while also developing Louis
Head Park: a 15-acre, fully accessible public space with a gym, playground, garden, and event venue.
Volunteers are the heart of everything we do. Whether you’re looking to help out for a single event or
want to take on a larger role, your energy and experience will make a difference.
Volunteer Roles
We’re currently looking for volunteers to help with:
• Event Setup & Takedown
Assist with stage setup, fencing, chairs/tables, signage, and teardown
• Bingo Nights & Concession Support
Help with cash table, snack stand, or calling bingo numbers
• Canteen & Food Service
Support nonprofit-run food tables or coordinate with food vendors
• Vendor & Artist Support
Help vendors or musicians get set up and navigate event space
• Kid Zone & Family Programming
Assist with child-friendly areas, games, or registration tables
• Parking & Accessibility
Help direct parking and support attendees with mobility needs
• Street Team / Promotion
Deliver posters, help with social media, or assist with door-to-door community outreach
You’ll be part of a friendly and motivated team working to build something the entire region can be
proud of. Volunteers get free entry to events, and we’ll happily write letters of reference for school or
employment needs.

Join the Committee
The Louis Head Tourism Festival and Events Society is currently forming its inaugural committee
and seeking dedicated community members to help shape the future of Louis Head Park, our
festivals, and our long-term programming.
This interim committee is responsible for everything from event logistics and community outreach to
volunteer coordination and accessibility planning.
If you have experience in event organizing, admin, food service, trades, or just want to help build
something meaningful—we want to hear from you.
